GET TO KNOW Lizzie

Lizzie Schaut, Recruiter at Ambrion, was first drawn to recruiting while working as an HR Coordinator during college. Based on that experience and her time spent building a small non-profit, she knew that her career would have to be people-focused. She says, “I realized that adding value to other people is at the core of everything I enjoy and that to feel successful and fulfilled I needed a job that did more than just provide a paycheck.” She feels recruiting at Ambrion is the perfect fit for her, because it combines her skills as a connector with her passion for advocacy to create lasting relationships with clients and candidates.

 

She chose Ambrion because the firm truly stood out in her search. The value they placed on long-term relationships and radical integrity in the recruiting industry aligned with her values better than any other firm she was considering.

 

Lizzie seeks to live out Ambrion’s core values of relationship building and honest advocacy in each search she manages. She believes, “In order to truly connect the right people and provide all the information necessary for a candidate and client to make good, long-term decisions – you have to invest the time and energy to actually know them.”  She approaches each search believing that every role is more than just a job description, and every candidate is more than just a resume. It requires investment in a holistic understanding of both to truly find that perfect fit.

 

One of her favorite placements highlights her approach to recruiting. This placement started with a candidate who would not have been considered for a role based solely on her resume. Lizzie was able to advocate for consideration of the candidate because of her relationship with them and knowledge of what the client was truly looking for. The candidate was hired and has added tremendous value to that team; she is thriving in the position. Lizzie believes this is a good example of the value a dedicated recruiter provides to both client and candidate.
