GET TO KNOW Andrew

Andrew Alvarado, a Recruiter at Ambrion, brings a skilled background in relationship building and providing value through powerful listening to each one of his candidates and clients. Andrew began his career in IT sales but says he left that industry because, “I enjoyed many aspects of those roles, however, it wasn’t as fulfilling as I wanted it to be.”

After joining Ambrion, he said he was happy that he could leverage his personal interest in helping people in any way, to use his career to professionally help people out with their careers. “I chose to go into recruiting, specifically with Ambrion, because I wanted something more meaningful and I have been very happy with my choice,” he says.

He seeks to practice Ambrion’s commitment to its core values each day by providing honest consultation and transparent customer service. “I enjoy being a trusted advisor to our candidates and place a lot of importance on the trust they invest in me to be a valuable resource in their career, and to have their best interests in mind,” he explains. 

Driven by an intrinsic desire to help people with their careers, one of his favorite relationships he’s built while recruiting is with an Accountant he placed. He recalls, “She was at a large Fortune organization and wasn’t terribly unhappy, however, she was missing some purpose in her work and didn’t feel as connected to the culture. I placed her at a smaller, yet well established organization with a strong mission statement and a fantastic culture.” 

He says he checked in with her after the holidays to see how it was going and she mentioned that she told her entire family at their holiday gathering that her new role was the best move she ever made, and she was very happy with the work she was doing with her new, fantastic co-workers. 

When asked about his personal philosophy when it comes to recruiting, he explains, “My philosophy to recruiting is to operate on a very relationship based model. I am working to build a network of talented individuals who answer the door when opportunity knocks.”
